Group racing returns to Royal Randwick today with four Group 1 and three Group 2 races for decision on a ten race card. The feature race is the weight for age Queen Elizabeth Stakes run over 2000 metres valued at $5 million. The track is currently rated a Heavy 8 but that could be downgraded during the day if there is more rain. The rail is out 4 metres for the entire circuit.

The wet and windy conditions will make punting a risky business today but the Professor and the Gelding will try and chart a course to some winners. The Caulfield track is currently rated a Soft 6 but with rain expected during the day the track rating could well be downgraded. The rail is out 6 metres for the entire circuit.

A great day on the punt for the Professor and the Gelding last week at Caulfield where they had 2 winners, 2 placings, got the all up place parlay up and the Professor’s Parlay. All in all a very good return. They are looking to at least equal that at Randwick today where the track is currently rated a Soft 5 and the rail is out 3 metres for the entire circuit.
