After an indifferent outing last week, the Professor and the Gelding are looking to start the Spring Carnival on a high on Guineas day at Caulfield today where the track is currently rated a Good 6 and the rail is in the true position for the entire circuit.

The wet and windy conditions will make punting a risky business today but the Professor and the Gelding will try and chart a course to some winners. The Caulfield track is currently rated a Soft 6 but with rain expected during the day the track rating could well be downgraded. The rail is out 6 metres for the entire circuit.
