Sydney Colt’s Golden Slipper Day Mail

Still a little miffed after our e/w special and only bet ran 4th last week. Confidence remains high and some great bets are on offer ar Rosehill.

Race 1 n2 DO YOU THINK Would have had it among my numbers if it had made the Slipper field! This is way easier.

Race 2 n1 RETRIEVE Plenty of knockers for this fellow but it drops a ton in grade and seems the best bet of the day with one of the pro punters who feed us information.

Race 7 n2 SMART MISSILE What a win last start when he dropped SEPOY Has to be backed.

Race 8 n 12 BASE The trackman tells me this neddy looks a perfect picture. Its Melb form is first rate.

Race 9 n3 ATOMIC FORCE This one has improved heaps with the blinkers being added.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Gelding’s tips for 26 March 2011

The Gelding’s attention returns to his home track at Caulfield today.  Not the least because he will be enjoying the cocktail party in the committee room.

As always the bets are on an each way and all up basis.

Sydney Colt’s Mail For Rosehill 26 March

Have had a week in Melbourne where I enjoyed some lovely lobster and assorted seafood with the Professor. Many thanks for his hospitality. I hope to return the favour by supplying a money maker at Rosehill tomorrow. Have picked up some mail direct from Gai’s stable and we will be going one out this week.

Race 7 n9 LIGHT BRIGADE e/w ($8.0) I am told in no uncertain terms this is a serious racehorse on the way up. It’s last run was a ripper and Gai has it absolutely ready for tomorrow. At $8.0 I have unleashed e/w.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sydney Colt’s Mail For Rosehill 19 March

There are a stack of hot favs today but I have rung around town and found a few GGs to upset some of the hotpots. Enjoy the value.

Race 1 n3 MAGITA Some are happy to punt on this neddy to upset the fav owing to some sharp work on the track over the past week.

Race 3 n5 ELITE FALLS The fav in this race is long odds on but we will take our chances with this one. It will be finishing the strongest.

Race 5 n1 DECSARADO Again we have to beat an odds on fav but Gai has an outstanding record of producing this type of galloper to lead them a merry chase. It really is sensational value.

Race 6 n1 BULLBARS Everyone in the media wants to knock the chances of this bloke based on a likely lack of pace. My mail says ignore the coat pullers and get on this neddy who is the best rated value runner all day! It did run great against far superior horses in Melb last start.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sportzfan Radio #192.1

@SportzfanRadio now available on iTunes!3 March 2011 192.1 – Sportzfan Stan has a problem that the benefits the AFL players are going to get under a new collective bargaining agreement will be better than our military personnel who risk their lives on a daily basis. He is not happy with it. Paul Dalligan provides a bottom to top assessment of the 2011 NRL season….Cronulla Sharks to finish on the bottom – Melbourne Storm to be top of the table  and beat St George in the Grand Final.  The Professor takes an opportunity to talk with Glenn Day from the Great Western Hotel, the sponsor of the show. He thinks Hawthorn will finish in the top four and that Buddy Franklin will kick 100 goals for the season. The Gelding talks about his great day at Flemington, tipping four firsts and a third from five selections.  He tells us he finished ‘about even’. Ha! Although the Gelding is a big fan of jockey, Brett Prebble, he awards him an S-Hit ride for his performance on Playing God. The Gelding also reviews the Sydney Colt’s selections at Warwick Farm.  The Professor takes Mark Fiorenti to task about his prediction skills after saying last week that Adelaide would beat Gold Coast 2-0.  He also discusses the Central Coast’s dour win against Gold Coast to get into the A League Grand Final.

Gelding’s tips for 5 March 2011

The Gelding’s attention turns to Flemington today after a great day of racing at Caulfield last week.  There are a lot of very, very good horses running today so selecting winners is a difficult task, but one the Gelding enjoys!

Race 6 Horse 2 – Playing God
