Paul Dalligan reviews round 12 of the NRL, the panel discuss the possible million dollar challenge tennis (or boxing) match between Nick Kyrgios and Bernard Tomic and they briefly look at the round of 16 for the men’s and women’s draw in the French Open.

The Professor and the panel of the Judge and Paul Dalligan discuss the news of a new collective bargaining agreement for the AFLW and Paul Dalligan reviews round 11 of NRL action. They also looked at the145th running of the Preakness Stakes won by Early Voting, the decision of the ATP and WTA to scrap Wimbledon’s ranking points in 2022 and the Australian hopefuls in the French Open that starts later tonight. The Gelding phoned in from Hawaii with his tips for today’s Wangaratta races.

The panel also discusses the slow reaction of the AFL to the University of Sydney’s study into female Australian Rules umpires, the ‘Greg Norman golf tour’, the long shot winner of the 148th Kentucky Derby and the number and calibre of the players that have left the Gold Coast Suns.

The panel of the Professor, the Judge, Sarah Radlow, Paul Dalligan, Coutta and the Gelding spoke with Professor Clare Hanlon from Victoria University about issues for girls and women in sport. Paul Dalligan reviewed round 8 of the NRL, we looked at the AFL trying to take some of the $55 million owed to AFL players and putting it towards the AFLW and the Gelding gave his tips for today’s Bendigo and Bairnsdale races.

The Professor and the panel of the Judge, the Gelding and Paul Dalligan look at the AFL’s crackdown on dissent, especially ‘arms out’ and believe the league has gone too far. Paul Dalligan reviews round 7 to date and previews the other matches of the round. The panel talk about the streaming services Amazon and Paramount intention to be involved in the bidding process for AFL broadcast rights and how that reflects the changing way that fans are viewing sport.

Grant Thomas – what needs to change at St Kilda FC to win a premiership – podcast

Why hasn’t St Kilda FC won a premiership since 1966? Grant Thomas provides his take on what the club needs to address to make the last day in September.

Grant is well placed to comment having played 72 games for the club and coached St Kilda from 2001 until 2006. He has also written for the Age, appeared on SEN and was part of the Footy Classified panel on channel 9.
