Our 4 red hotties for Derby day at Flemington on 29 October 2022 and the Professor’s Parlay

Another Spring Carnival day of racing and after a big day on the punt last week, the Professor and the Gelding are confident with today’s Derby day selections. The Flemington track is currently rated a Soft 7 but with showers predicted during the day the track could be downgraded. The rail is in the True position.

The Spring Carnival is in full swing with punters getting a double dose of Group 1 racing at Moonee Valley today after last night’s Manikato Stakes became race 11 this afternoon. The Professor has a tip in the race and the Gelding has one in the Cox Plate. The track is currently rated a Heavy 8 with the rail in the true position.

The Spring Carnival has its first major race of the Spring Carnival with the running of the Caulfield Cup today. The track is currently rated a Heavy 8 with the rail out 6 metres for the entire circuit. The Everest is also being run at Randwick.
