After a reasonable day last Saturday (2 winners) on the last day of the Spring Carnival the Professor is looking to improve at Sandown’s Hillside track today. The track should be good with the rail in the true position. At Rosehill the track should also be good with the rail 6 metres out from the true position.

The Gelding’s attention is at Sandown today in this last metropolitan race meeting before Christmas. He acknowledges he must lift his game this outing as he needs some funds for the Chrissie pudding tomorrow.
The Gelding’s attention is at Sandown today and after what one could only term a mediocre Spring Carnival, he is looking to bounce back with a vengeance. By the way punters, he awarded an s-hit ride to Kieran McEvoy for last week’s ride on the $3.25 favourite The Unites States.
The Gelding’s attention is split between Victoria and Queensland today with racing returning to Eagle Farm after a very long spell. With heavy rain tipped and racing on the track for the first time in two years, punting may be a bit tricky. After a good outing last week with 2 winners and 3 seconds, he isn’t worried about a bit of rain!
After a tough outing on the punt last Saturday, the Gelding looks to improve his fortunes this week by diversifying at Sandown, Randwick and Doomben. Hopefully, that will be a formula for success.
