Our 4 best bets for Flemington races on 6 August 2022 and the Professor’s Parlay

After all the rain during the week we had expected a heavier rating for the Flemington track, however, it is currently rated a Soft 5 with the rail out 10 metres for the entire circuit. Rain is forecast during the day so that may affect the rating during the meeting.

Not a great weekend on the punt last week for the Professor and the Gelding but they’re looking to bounce back today at Moonee Valley where the track is rated a Soft 6 and the rail is out 3 metres for the entire circuit.

Paul Dalligan looked at round 16 of the NRL and the panel took the AFL to task about the mixed messages in the media regarding a 19th team in Tasmania and the dearth of publicity given to the AFLW draft held during the week.
