Our four best bets for Flemington races on 18 December 2021 and the Professor’s Parlay

An excellent day at the track last week with two winners, two placings and the Professor’s parlay all successful! Today at Flemington the Professor and the Gelding are looking to improve on that effort. The track is currently rated a Good 4 but will probably be upgraded during the day and the rail is 3 metres out for the entire circuit.

The Professor and the Gelding weren’t too far off the mark last week with a modest return for their four selections. They are looking to improve on that today for the pre-Christmas Flemington meeting. The track is currently rated a Good 4 with the rail in the true position.

The Professor and the Gelding are tipping at different venues today. The Professor doesn’t like the continuous overnight rain and the effect it may have on the Moonee Valley track whilst the Gelding is ignoring the rain because ‘it’s Cox Plate day’.

At Moonee Valley the rail is in the true position and the track is currently rated a Slow 6 but that rating could deteriorate with more rain during today. The rail is out 4 metres for the entire circuit at Randwick with the track rated a Good 4.
