Border Jumpers…

Hello all..

Not sure whether I take it as a compliment, an insult or a threat that some of the best talent in rugby league is being poached by the cashed up AFL.

Fosters was cashed up once and they decided to buy Southcorp – and they have actually now managed to lose money selling beer to Australians. Possibly a first…

Part of me hopes that the AFL circus act follows the same path – I feel for those doing great things in the VFL.  The next Podsiadly or Barlow could provide Western Sydney with their very own hero but they are being passed over as the AFL pillages other sports.

Why look for talent in your own backyard when your millions will buy you greener pastures down the road…

Sydney Colt's Mail For Sat 29 May

With the track very heavy in Sydney there is little mail to help us BUT we have a strong lead from 2 Pro Punters betting up in Bris.

BRIS race 8 n 5 AHDASHIM. This neddy beat a real good one in Pinwheel last start. I am
reliably informed the ratings have this off the map. Pros took the $3.6 early. I grabbed $3.2
and it is now at $2.9. No other bets.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

The Gelding's tips for 29 May 2010

As the Gelding is between jobs at present, he has been scouring the form guides for value at at Moonee Valley  tomorrow, but it seems like a very hard day to pick a winner!  The threatening weather also does not help.

As always the tips are on an each way and all up basis.

At the moment the tips are:

Race 2   Horse 1 – Our Baby Bonus (for the girls at the Tennis club)

Race 6   Horse 7 – Eight Bills (also for the girls at the Tennis club)

Race 8   Horse 5 – Altitude

Good luck and good punting!!
