The Professor’s red hotties for Rosehill on 28 September 2019 and the Weekend Parlay

The Professor was a bit hit and miss last week but is looking for a more even performance today. No Melbourne metropolitan races today due to the Grand Final so we’re off to Rosehill. The track is rated a Good 4 with the rail in the true position.

The Professor had a successful outing last week with the Weekend Parlay getting up for the third time in five weeks. With a perfect day for racing at Caulfield today, he is looking to at least equal last week’s performance.

The track is rated a Good 4 with the rail in the true position.

Sportzfan Radio show 350 – 18 August 2019

Sportzfan Radio celebrated the 350th show in fine style welcoming back some panellists from the past in Daniel Eade and Chris formerly from Barwon Heads who joined the discussion with the Professor, the Gelding, the Judge, Coutta and Nick the Saint.

The Panel spoke to former steeplechase jockey, Leigh Woodgate about her early years, her career, the race fall 25 years ago, her recovery from the injuries she suffered in the fall and the inspirational speaking role she now has.

We also talked Premier League with Mark Fiorenti and NRL with Paul Dalligan.

The Professor’s red hotties for Caulfield races on 17 August 2019 and the Weekend Parlay

The Professor was in some sort of form last week with a win and placing on the horses and the weekend parlay saluting. He’s looking to build on that today at Caulfield. The track is rated a Soft 5 with the rail 10 metres out.

On yesterday’s show the panel spoke with US correspondent, Dan Butterly about the the recent NBA draft and free agency period and the season so far in Major League Baseball. We also spoke State of Origin with Paul Dalligan and Mark Fiorenti previewed the women’s soccer World Cup final between the USA and the Netherlands. A new panellist was introduced to the show too.

The Professor had some modest success last week for the ladies at the Tennis club with Highland Beat and is looking to improve on that today. The Flemington track is rated a Soft 5 at present but should firm up during the day, with the rail in the true position.

Professor’s red hotties for Caulfield races on 5 January 2019

After a fast start at Flemington on New Year’s Day, the wheels fell off with the last three selections. As the Gelding would say ‘that’s racing’. Today’s race meeting at Caulfield gives the Professor the chance of redemption. The track at present is a good 4 but that may change if the anticipated rains come. The rail is in the true position.

Professor’s red hotties for Cox Plate Day at Moonee Valley on 27 October 2018

It’s all systems go for the Professor at today’s Cox Plate Day races at Moonee Valley. Winx running in the feature race selects herself but the rest of the selections needed a bit of hard work and research. A small field in the Cox Plate will suit the favourite who should go on to win it for a record breaking fourth time.
