The Professor and the Gelding had a day to forget at Sandown on Wednesday but no point dwelling on the negatives and every reason to get back in the saddle today at Caulfield where the track is rated a Good 4 and the rail is in the true position.

The track is rated a Soft 5 with the rail out 4 metres from the 1800 metre mark to the winning post and in the true position for the rest of the circuit.
