Dalligan’s Dandies for 31 August 2013

42There is no doubt that in the head to head last Saturday, the Sydney Colt won the day and it turned out that Someday wasn’t the fastest thing out of Brisbane since Wendell Sailor.

Today, Paul looks at both Caulfield and Rosehill for some value for punters. He hopes that a turf war doesn’t break out between he and the Sydney Colt.

42With the Gelding still enjoying his well earned break in Hawaii, our guest tipster Paul Dalligan turns his mind to selecting some more winners for the Sportzfan Radio punt drunks.

This week he goes head to head with the Sydney Colt as Paul centres his attention on Warwick Farm. Paul says his best bet of the day is in Race 8 Someday – the fastest thing out of Brisbane since Wendell Sailor!

Paul suggests a quinella in the 8th race coupling Someday with Horse 2 Norzita.

He also suggests a dollar or two each way on the Victorian provincial meeting at Donald in race 7 horse 5 Danish Rock.

42With the Gelding taking a well earned break overseas on the Sportzfan Radio dollar, guest tipster and Rabbitoh’s tragic, Paul Dalligan turns his hand to the punt at Caulfield today.

You can bet that Dalligan has these horses as part of some multi with AFL, NRL, MLB and NFL.

When asked why only two selections, Paul replied, “It’s always quality not quantity Professor”.  He also added “They haven’t come here for a haircut!”.

This is Joel’s third time on Sportzfan Radio. He has fought as an amateur, represented Australia at the Olympics and, like all fighters, is looking for a shot at the title. Daniel suggests that there is a moment of silence for Paul Dalligan’s multi which went west when the Washington Nationals lost. He feels the St Louis Cardinals will play Detroit Tigers for the World Series. He believes the NHL is in mortal danger if it can’t resolve the lockout. The Gelding talks racing and the Spring Carnival with racing at Caulfield yesterday. He also discusses the revelations that Damian Oliver allegedly bet $10,000 on a horse in the same race he was riding in. The Gelding awards S-hit rides to Nash Rawiller for his rides on More Joyous and Pierro. Dr Leslie’s CSA makes a return.
