The Professor had a tough outing last Saturday, as did most punters. With no city meeting today, he’s looking to get back onto the winning list at provincial Ballarat. The track is rated a Good 4 with the rail in the true position.

After an in and out Melbourne Cup day, the Professor is looking to improve on his last outing and to make every post a winner at Flemington today. The track is rated a Good 4 at this stage but further rain may lead to a downgrade in the track’s condition. The rail is out 9 metres for the entire circuit.

The Professor had a day to forget on Saturday but, using a line from the Sydney Colt, ‘confidence is not lost’ so onward and upward! The track is rated a soft 6 with the rail out three metres the entire track.
