We were on fire at Caulfield’s mid week race meeting with 3 winners and a placing from 4 tips. For all the mathematicians out there that’s a 75% win rate. A break even day for the boys last Saturday with the Professor being a tad unlucky with his Parlay. No NFL for him today in the selections! The Caulfield track is currently rated a Good 4 but with the wind about, the track could be upgraded to a 3 mid-afternoon. The rail is out 6 metres for the entire circuit.

The Professor and the Gelding are tipping at different venues today. The Professor doesn’t like the continuous overnight rain and the effect it may have on the Moonee Valley track whilst the Gelding is ignoring the rain because ‘it’s Cox Plate day’.

At Moonee Valley the rail is in the true position and the track is currently rated a Slow 6 but that rating could deteriorate with more rain during today. The rail is out 4 metres for the entire circuit at Randwick with the track rated a Good 4.

The Professor returned to the winner’s list in style last week with two winners from two selections. Unfortunately, it took Liverpool’s first loss in 44 Premier League matches to bring his weekend parlay undone. Hopefully, he’ll get all three this week.
