Sydney Colt's Mail For 3 July 2010

Plenty of mail around from 2 pro punters and man who provides a ratings and pricing service for 2 rails bookies. Not much value but winners seemed assured. Last week we had 1 win from 2 selections with Huckelberry Friend a scratching (I’m told Gelding apparently said on the radio show it ran last – maybe he was given that bum steer by his friend Bendigo Betty)

Race 2 n7 Dal Dal Won 1 from 1 for Gai and I’m told the stable cash is going on this one.

Race 3 n6 Skyerush Last start winner who will get a suck run from barrier 1

Race 5 n1 Tripple Elegance Chris Waller has this neddy flying with wins at its past 2 starts

Race 7 n6 Electric Dreams Great run 1st up from spell when wide all way for 4th behind superstars Loce Conquers All and Hay List. This is a significantly weaker race.

Moeny lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sydney Colt's Mail For Randwick Sat 26 June

If the track gets no rain before they race tomorrow we can punt with a degree of confidence.

Race 4 n 5 Hidden Wonder e/w The pro punters stepped into this one early and it is now a $4.0 fav. Backed e/w it is a bet to nothing. Third up from spell and barrier 2 will see it get the suck run. “Thriving” I’m told!

Race 5 n2 Brasileira Topical tip. Second up and they tell me Snowden has this cherry ripe. Pros believe it to be the bet of the program on ratings.

Race 6 n 10 Huckelberry Friend e/w Word is that this neddy is improving on the track after it’s last start win, so the other should watch out!

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Gelding's tips for 26 June 2010

With the end of the financial year at hand, the Gelding is looking to end it on a winning note.  This may be difficult as the weather is threatening with the cold and wet not helping predictions.

A big thanks to the Sydney Colt for his vote of confidence during the week.

Flemington

Race 4 Horse 1 – Broken (for the ladies at the Tennis club)

Race 6 Horse 15 – Doubtful Jack (also for the ladies at the Tennis club)

Race 7 Horse 10 – Sea Syke

Race 8 Horse 1 – Offenders

Good luck and good punting!

Sydney Colts Mail For Rosehill 19 June

I have sore fingers from ringing around the traps this morning but alas there is virtually NO strong leads whatsoever. Hence the suggestions below are purely for the punt drunks!

Race 4 n11 Forward Love e/w ($6) The only mail I have is this neddy has been working well and is on a quick backup.

Race 7 n 6 Eripsni ($14) and n 7 Handsupfordetroit ($10). The only whisper I could come up with was a pro punter is backing both of these with Sportsbet.com.au where he will take best of the 3 totes or SP which ever pays higher. I will have a penny on these. If you bet on a 1 state TAB you have no respect for money!

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sportzfan Radio 158.1

13 June 2010 158.1 – Stan opens up on AFL losing Brownlow votes… Catchup with John Rillie talking NBL, NBA Finals & where NBA free agents may head… Sean starts the discussion of superstitions in sports from NHL Beards to Daniel‘s no high-five rule… The Gelding gets a few winners and lays down the challenge to the Sydney Colt…

Thanks for in-show tweets @Susan_Shan, @SydneyColt, @lisahayes4, @GayleESaunders, @the_dos & @Smileyj14

Saturday 12 June: Mail In 3 States

We cannot ignore the strong leads in 3 States on Saturday. The mail is primed to make us a profit and back on a diet of lobster.

SYD r2 n4 HALLEYS This neddy was scratched last week because it is absolutely flying on the track & they didn’t want to chance their money in the wet. If it lives up to track work it will be saluting.

MELB r2 n3 ANNIVERSARY My mail from a ratings expert says Gai has well and truly beaten the handicapper by taken this neddy south. The rest is up to the horse. Big money has already gone on with corporate bookies

BRIS r4 n15 RINGA RINGA ROSIE a pocket full of $100 notes after this one wins. Anyone who follows me on Twitter knows I have been waiting 2 weeks for this one. Set for this 1 race. Climb on the bandwagon.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sydney Colt's Hot Mail For Eagle Farm June 5

With the Sydney track awash I have resorted to begging for more hot mail from up north where we have had some excellent carnival mail so far. Only 1 bet again.

Bris r1 n13 KEFFIYA e/w ($6.0) This 5yo Kiwi mare has been in the smart hands of Gerald Ryan and steps up to a most suitable journey. Barrier 19 is a minus but this neddy on ratings is a dead set must bet. Taken e/w is the safe option and is recommended. $7.0 was on offer at IAS before the pro punters stepped in and attacked. Now $5.5 at IAS but $6 still available at Betchoice and Sportsbet.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Gelding's tips for 5 June 2010

This free and easy life between jobs has given the Gelding far more time than usual to look through the fields.  That good a life is it, that the role of ‘professional punter’ could be in the winds.  The bets are far and wide both in and out of Australia with some feature races at Epsom (UK) and Belmont (USA).

As always the bets are on an each way and all up basis.

Flemington tomorrow:

Race 1 Horse 1 – Liveandletdie

Race 2 Horse 7 – Belgietto

Race 3 Horse 4 – Sunday Rose (for the girls at the Tennis club)

Race 4 Horse 5 – Oak Heart

Race 5 Horse 10 – Elusive Touch (also for the girls at the Tennis club)

Some other big Races on the weekend and the tips are:

Queensland Oaks  Race 7 Horse 3 – Dariana

English Derby –  Jan Vermeer (sounds like a person we used to know) for Aidan O’Brien and Johnny Murtagh.

Belmont StakesIce Box

Good luck & good punting,

The Gelding
