The Professor and Gelding tipping at 50% last night and are looking to do better today when Group racing returns to Moonee Valley with 2 Group 3’s, 4 Group 2’s and the Group 1 Cox Plate. The track is currently rated a Soft 5 but showers are predicted during the day. The rail is in the true position for the entire circuit.

The Professor and the Gelding had some near misses last week with three placings from the four selections and are looking to do better today at Flemington where the track is rated a Soft 5 with the rail out 10 metres for the entire circuit.

After a lean outing last week, the Professor and the Gelding are hoping to improve their win rating at Caulfield today where the track is currently rated a Soft 6 with the rail out 4 metres for the entire circuit. A word of warning that the track could be downgraded if there is rain during the meeting.
