We will leave the odds on favs to Gelding and search out some great e/w value. It worked for us last week and I have some good mail.

Race 1 n4 Silently e/w ($7.0) Gelding has found the hot pot in Griffon (and it will be extremely hard to pass) but our neddy is 3rd up which is it’s best form race and it rates extremely well.

Race 4 n11 Skorost e/w ($16.0) Had 1st start last and beaten a mile but J B Cummings has added blinkers and my mail says it has grown a leg on the track. Huge value!

Race 5 n8 More Strawberries e/w ($4.4) Missed start at 1st race and should have won. Blinkers added by Gai and I’m told it will be up on the pace.

Race 7 n8 Zabrasive e/w ($6.5) We cannot knock Gelding’s pick Shoot Out who will be fav but ours is DEFINITELY the best stayer in the race and is sensational value e/w.

After a three week hiatus due to the Professor not having acces to a computer to enter my tips, I am back bigger and better than ever.

Racing this week returns to the Gelding’s home track at Caulfield tomorrow. I also like some of the neddies running around in Sydney as well so at the risk of upsetting the Colt, I am having a fly at those as well.

As always the bets are on an each way and all up basis.

Race 3 n3 Psychologist e/w Have tipped Solar Charged every start but allowing it’s gate, trouble at the track and the impressive Melb build up of Psychologist I think we have found great e/w value.

Race 5 n2 Black Piranha e/w Again, we always tip Hot Danish 1st up but pro punters says the trial form of Black Piranha cannot be ignored and it is a better WFA horse.

Race 8 n1 Tickets e/w This neddy has a ton over the fav Al Dhafra on ratings and that alone suggests we jump in. Aparently Tickets is trialling tip top also.

Race 1 n2 Strike One Only has to handle the conditions to beat this ordinary lot.

Race 4 n8 Solar Charged This would have been the bet of 2010 however the conditions pose a question. Pro punters are staying solid on this one which has always been the early Slipper fav. Who am I to disagree.

Race 5 n9 Sacred Choice e/w Have just taken the $12 on offer at Betchoice having missed the early $26 at IAS. This neddy will improve heaps on it’s last start and will eat up the mud.

I have enjoyed my time in the spelling paddock but now it’s down to the business of making money on Saturdays. As always I’ve rung around pro punters, ratings expert and a prominent trackman.

Race 2 n6 De Lightning Ridge Wow, did you see this win it’s last start? The right people have backed this already and they’re not finished putting the money on.

Race 4 n1 Chekvetadze On ratings this Queenslander is very well placed. It will not get a better chance to win a race in Sydney.

Race 5 n4 Chance Bye Quite simply if this neddy repeats the sectional times it ran at it’s last start win it will be impossible for them to catch up.
