11 March 2012 238.2 – The second hour starts off with the Dr Leslie CSA. John O’Callaghan comes on the show to talk about the press release for the Lingerie League that is coming to Australia. He thinks it is a bad thing being the wrong message for sport and the wrong message for women. He believes if Sally Pearson was a man she would be front page news every day. John also wants to get rid of the title Sports Minister from the cabinet as it is just a “Minister for Good Times” position. He says Australia is obsessed with winning medals at the Olympics and the money being fed into winning medals should be put into grass roots sport. Daniel talks basketball and looks at the NBA with rookie Ricky Rubio from the Timberwolves tearing an ACL and missing not only the rest of the NBA season but also the Olympics. He also can’t understand why Australians would be begging Kyrie Irving to play for Australia. If he wants to play for the Boomers, it’s an honour. He only lived here for three months so he has a tenuous link with Australia at best. The New York Knicks are struggling and Linsanity seems to be wearing off. Daniel then looks at the possible trades before the trade deadline including Andrew Bogut, Dwight Howard, Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol. He also looks at the NBL and all the right things the New Zealand Breakers are doing. They have also re-signed Darryl Corletto for a further two years. Daniel looks at the run towards the finals with five teams in the running for four spots. Paul Dalligan talks NRL and tries to explain how the Rabbitohs lost last Monday night’s game and he called it an horrific loss. He reviews the round two results and makes predictions for the games remaining. Daniel finishes the show talking about the move Troy and Brad Pitt. He asks Sportzfan Stan for advice about the achilles heel as he says Stan must have been alive back in 1AD.

The Gelding’s tips for 10 March 2012
The Gelding’s attention today is on Flemington with several fine horses strutting their stuff. The horse ‘that should have won last year’s Melbourne Cup’ is sure to salute today and is a special for the ladies at the Tennis club.
As always the bets are on an each way and all up basis.
Flemington
Race 1 Horse 1 – Snitzerland
Race 4 Horse 1 – Wall Street
Race 5 Horse 2 – Shopaholic (for the ladies at the Tennis club)
Race 6 Horse 1 – Hay List
Race 7 Horse 1 – Americain (also for the ladies at the Tennis club)
You can hear the Gelding discuss racing with the Professor every Sunday on Sportzfan Radio at 12.30pm on 88.3 Southern FM. The Gelding’s segment is sponsored by the Great Western Hotel.

Sydney Colt’s Mail For Warwick Farm 10 March 2012
We had no bets last week and kept our +$105 profit for 2012 in the pocket waiting for a better day. Well, today is a better day. Betstar has joined Centrebet and Luxbet in offering punters BOB (best of bookies fluc or best of 3 totes) so there is no excuse for anyone not to have an account.
Race 8 number 1 Secret Admirer $175 win BOBs This neddy is a Group 1 winner and the best placed horse in Sydney today. Moves up in distance from its 1st up run and I’m told has been working an absolute treat. Like the Sydney Colt’s groupies, this neddy has a ton of class.
Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.
The Gelding’s tips for 3 March 2012

Sydney Colt 3 March 2012
Way too wet at Rosehill today to ask you to put serious money on anything. Betting today is purely for punt drunks only! Some great races to watch.
As for our designated bets, last week we won +$255 after the raps from the morning gallops for Gai’s Laser Hawk were spot on. This gives us a 2012 profit of $105. Look us up next Saturday for hopefully some more profit.
Remember 2 things (1) In 2012 the Sydney Colt is only tipping for profit and will tell you how much to outlay (2) Bet with Luxbet or Centrebet where you get (BOBs) best of the bookie flucs or the 3 totes whichever is highest.
Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.
Sydney Colt’s Mail For Rosehill 25 February 2012
Off and running in 2012, however fortune was against us last week. Joe may be a top jockey in Singapore but fair dinkum based on his ride last week he would fall off the merry-go-round. Anyway our 2012 progress is -$150. We may have lost our money but confidence remains sky high.
Race 2 n6 LASER HAWK $170 win ‘BOBs’ with Luxbet or Centrebet. Gai has this primed to win 1st up over 1500m. Jump on.
Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.
Gelding’s tips for 25 February 2012
The Gelding’s attention is on his home track at Caulfield today with a great day of racing and three Group 1 races for decision. Unfortunately, Black Caviar is not running but Sepoy, who has ten wins from eleven starts looks a sure thing in the Oakleigh Plate.
As always the bets are on an each way and all up basis.
Caulfield
Race 4 Horse 5 – Soft Sand
Race 5 Horse 2 – King Mufhasa
Race 6 Horse 1 – Sepoy (for the ladies at the Tennis club)
Race 7 Horse 10 – Samaready (also for the ladies at the Tennis club)
Race 9 Horse 3 – Let’s Be Happy

Gelding’s tips for 18 February 2012
After a two week break on the sidelines, the Gelding is back and this week his attention turns to Flemington today with the great Black Caviar having another outing, this time in the Coolmore Lightning WFA Stakes. Will the horse still be unbeaten at the end of the day….the Gelding certainly thinks so!
As always, the bets are on an each way and all up basis.
Flemington
Race 2 Horse 5 – Sidecar
Race 4 Horse 1 – Mosheen (for the ladies at the Tennis club)
Race 5 Horse 1 – Helmet
Race 6 Horse 7 – Black Caviar (also for the ladies at the Tennis club)
Race 7 Horse 10 – Speediness

Ok, attention all Sydney Colt groupies and punt drunks everywhere. It is time to start the betting in 2012. We’ll keep a track of profit and losses so stay solid. All bets will be with Centrebet or Luxbet on their BOBs offer (ie best of best fluc from the bookies ring or the highest tote dividend from the 3 States).
Race 2 n2 HUSSOUSA $150 win Bobs with Centrebet or Luxbet. This is an absolute 2 horse war and our bet is fresh and ready for a 1st up kill. Our only bet.
Listen to the Professor on Sportzfan radio tomorrow for progress. We will also update here each week.
Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.
Sydney Colt’s Mail for Rosehill 11 February 2012
Sydney Colt groupies will recall my post where I declared 2012 will be a year of certain profit and I will indicate what to bet on (Best Of Best odds with Luxbet or Centrebet only) and how much to bet. Our bets will be few in number but we are aiming at ensuring a profit this year.
NO BETS TODAY. The track is too wet to ask you to put your money on. I will not be betting! For Punt Drunks only consider race 1 n 2 Jade Marauder race 2 n5 You Got The Love and race 10 n8 Charing Cross e/w
Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.
