Dalligan’s Dandies for 17 August 2013

With the Gelding taking a well earned break overseas on the Sportzfan Radio dollar, guest tipster and Rabbitoh’s tragic, Paul Dalligan turns his hand to the punt at Caulfield today.

You can bet that Dalligan has these horses as part of some multi with AFL, NRL, MLB and NFL.

When asked why only two selections, Paul replied, “It’s always quality not quantity Professor”. He also added “They haven’t come here for a haircut!”.

Hurry, hurry, hurry. I just snatched $2.0 about Streaking Comet in race 1 at Randwick with Luxbet. The price wont last. Bet of the day by a country mile.

Race 1 n1 STREAKING COMET The new team of Bart & James Cummings could not have targeted an easier race. It is not a certainty but it is better than these and $2.0 is sensational value.

Others: For the punt drunks amongst us, I’ll play up my winnings from Streaking Comet on r3 n5 Lilliburlero and r6 n5 Eurozone

The Gelding’s attention is fixed on Moonee Valley today with a word of warning to punters……..the fields aren’t all that great and maybe today’s smart money is on the racing at Rosehill.

That being said, we’ll try and find some value choices that will stock the war chest for when the better fields arrive in the Spring.

Sydney Colt’s Mail For Rosehill Gardens 3rd August 2013

Sydney Colt groupies and punt drunks everywhere cleaned up last week when we put all our eggs in the one basket, or should it be that we all stole easy money from the corporate bookies!! If you didn’t bet BOBs you cost yourself some serious coin. The mail is ok again for today however we will spread the bets around today.

Race 2 n3 VELROSO This neddy put in a super run 1st up and I’m told by insiders it has been burning up the track since. I took black odds with the corporate bookies this morning. You should do likewise as it is probably going to start in the red. Clearly the best of the day.

Race 5 n8 KRISTY LEE I haven’t yet seen a replay but I understand its 1st up run was very good and it certainly comes in well on the weights.

Race 7 n1 TRAVOLTA When I was at trackwork earlier in the year I heard this neddy is a stable fav. It has been handled with kid gloves to prepare for the 2000m here 2nd up. Has the class factor and Gai’s pampering!

3 bets for 2 winners last week saw Sydney Colt groupies and punt drunks everywhere lining their pockets. We have had a sensational July and hope to continue today. I have mail in several races but they fall into insignificance compared to a hottie in the 1st race. So we’ll be putting all our punting bank into just the one race today.

Race 1 n2 WATABOUT The word is out on this neddy and this morning I watched the corporate bookies bring this one in from black to red odds under the flood of ‘informed’ money. It was super impressive winning as it liked at Canterbury and has a significant weight pull on the 2nd fav. Race 2 n2 KNOYDART Finally has found form and should go on with it today. Has a class edge on the rest.

Race 7 n6 SACRED FLYER Has been really well backed in pre post markets put up by corporate bookies. Our pro-punter man has a small query on the barrier but with an even break will be in the finish.

There is a definite lack of mail about this morning. I’m looking for a bit of value today with just the 1 bet recommended.

Race 2 n8 EXCELEINE e/w This neddy must be backed each way. I took $17 fixed odds this morning with www.bookmaker.com.au I am reliably told this filly has been ticking over nicely and will improve on its last start 2nd at Kembla. The Waterhouse stable prepare this girl and I am keen to see if the mail is accurate.
