We got the bookies cash last week with our only selection backed off the map. Even Rob managed to cash up. I will be missing at a beachside resort for the next few weeks and won’t be posting. Back in March with the good oil from people who gamble for a living.

Race 1 n3 Needs Further Trained by Gai the only doubt is the 1200m first up. It meets an ordinary bunch and improved it’s own weight at it’s 2nd trial. Very short odds however.

Race 2 n6 Hidden Wonder This neddy keeps winning and I’m told has come back from the Gold Coast looking very smart and ready to fire.

Race 6 n2 Gigas Like Hidden Wonder this one trained by Gai keeps winning. Bookies took a risk early and posted $3.8. Now into $3.4 and still great value. On pace runner.

Gai has no starters today. I’ll bet that is the first Sat meeting in the last 10 years. There is a complete lack of mail today. I won’t pick just for the sake of it and hence only 1 runner today. It’s an absolute scorcher in Sydney so be careful not to fall into short priced favs.

Race 4 n6 Al Dhafra Won 2/2 at Provincial. The important aspect is my man says the sectionals were extremely impressive. This is a neddy who will win better races than this, so I’ll be on. Hate tipping against the Snowden 2 but it means we will get value from the bookies. I have already had some on at $3.8 and will top up my bet at best fluc.

We wrapped up the last meeting of 2009 with another winning day giving us only 1 losing day since 1 Nov. Let’s hope the punting gods are with us punt drunks in 2010.

Race 1 n1 ANCESTOR ($3.8) Bart had this one running a good race at it’s first start. We have been told it has been burning up the track since.

Race 2 n8 SOMEDAY SOMEHOW ($3.2) Gai has the first 2 favs in this race but we are confidently told by a stable insider this is their pick of the 2. That’s good enough for me.

Race 4 n11 THE STARLET ($9.0) Not well in on ratings but word has it this neddy is well and truly on the way up. With Brown on will get a suck run from barrier 1. Beware Gigas.

The Gelding is back bigger and better than ever in 2010 and looking to build a big bank to put toward Christmas celebrations later in the year. Although the better horses have yet to re-appear, there is some value for punters tomorrow.

The mail continues to shine with only 1 losing day since 1st November. Unfortunately the wet has hit Sydney and we must bet with caution today.

Race 4 n8 ZUZELLA ($3.2) Trotted in at the provincials last start where overall time and sectionals indicate more wins to come. A pro punter mate has made it the anchor bet.

Race 5 n7 VINTEGE e/w ($5.5) Has not been paying it’s way this preparation but the ratings really like it today and the wet is a ++. A little e/w is the way to go.

Race 8 n4 ALTERED BOY ($4.0) Ist up today. Last preparation won 3 on end before found lame after poor race. I’m told this neddy is ready to win 1st up.
