Gelding's tips for 1 May 2010

The Gelding’s attention returns to Victoria this weekend and his home track of Caulfield. There seems to be plenty of value for punters.

As always the tips should be followed on an each way and all up basis.

Caulfield

Race 1 Horse 1 – Rose Syrah

Race 5 Horse 3 – Morgan Dollar (for the ladies at the Tennis club)

Race 6 Horse 3 – Nine Tales (also for the ladies at the tennis club)

Race 8 Horse 11 – Tee Emar

As a special, the Gelding has also had a look at the field for the Kentucky Derby, the first race in the Triple Crown in the USA. He likes a 9/1 shot called Awesome Act (horse 16).

Good luck and good punting!

Randwick 24/4 The Early Bird Catches The Money!

Today we can make our money early and sit back and watch the Group 1 races knowing it will be another Sat night lobster feast. Mail is good today.

Race 1 n9 Shannara I’m told this neddy can reel off some smart sectionals and did win with a lot in hand last start. Up in grade but also continues improving

Race 2 n1 Al Dhafra This lovely beast won for us last start after looking a mess in the mounting yard. Our ratings man tells me this is the pick of the day while a pro punter tells me the 2000M suits ideally and he agrees this is the pick of the day. Hence all I can say is this is the pick of the day – get on!

Race 3 n3 Gold Water Gai has this neddy ready to control the tempo up front. Its form has been franked by some sweet performances in the Doncaster.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Gelding's tips for 24 April 2010

The Gelding’s attention turns to Randwick this Saturday where he sees definite value for punters.

As always the bets are on an each way and all up basis.

Randwick

Race 2 Number 1 Al Dhafra

Race 3 Number 3 Gold Water

Race 6 Number 10 Jessicabeel (for the ladies at the Tennis club)

Race 7 Number 2 Mic Mac (also for the ladies at the Tennis club)

Race 8 Number 1 Alverta

Good luck and good punting!

Doncaster Day – Very tough day for punt drunks

Nice to have lobster back on the menu last week after we correctly predicted bookies were giving money away. Today is completely different. There is a total absence of reliable mail. Hence only 1 bet and not with great confidence.

Race 2 n4 Parables This neddy is second fav behind it’s stablemate Celts. I’m told Parables is the better horse and “on the up” but it does have to contend with a poor barrier and the fact Celts will have an easy lead if it wants it. The mail I have says go with the better horse and so I will. Join me.

No other bets as the mail is very weak today. No point betting just for the sake of it. That is a quick path to the poor house!

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Randwick Today – Free money give away by bookies

Last week we went back on a diet of sardines and baked beans but the mail today is so lava hot I’ve booked a seat at my fav seafood restaurant for lobster tonight. All short priced but winners galore assured.

Race 1 n1 Al Dhafra Shortest priced horse all day but is way down in grade and has oodles on these according to our ratings man.

Race 3 n2 Beaded On ratings has 3.5 lengths on this lot. What more could you need to know!

Race 5 n4 Gold Water According to our man on the inside this neddy has been flying on the track. Well placed by Gai and will look the winner at some stage.

Race 9 n1 Speedy Natalie This is the best rated horse all day. Buck jumped at start last time but I know 1 pro punter who is not bothered by that and has already invested a large 5 figured sum at $2.7. That will do me!

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Gelding's tips for 10 April 2010

The Gelding is back in town after another glitch in cyberspace last week. This week he likes the fields at Randwick so he will be all over the Colts territory……sorry Colt.

As always the bets are on an each way and all up basis.

Randwick

Race 3 Horse 2 – Beaded

Race 4 Horse 4 – Hot Danish (for the ladies at the Tennis club)

Race 7 Horse 2 – Rock Classic

Race 8 Horse 5 – Precedence (also for the ladies from the Tennis club)

Don’t forget you can hear me on Sportzfan Radio Sundays from midday on 88.3 Southern FM.

Good luck and good punting.

Golden Slipper Day – 5 Group 1 Races

I’m still waiting for my sling from Rob after he took the $6.5 winner last week. Slipper Day is as good as it ever gets in Sydney. Watch track pattens today.

Race 1 n5 Sweepstaking e/w ($6.5) Gillian Heinrich has the Slipper fav but brought this neddy down for pay the extras. I’m told it has been working very nicely.

Race 2 n9 Sasa ($3.2) Did you see this one win last start? WOW! We have mail from the Tim Martin yard to say it will be winning again. We have NEVER lost on Martin yard mail.

Race 5 n11 Daffodil e/w ($6.5) Has been set specifically for this race and has been working up to this perfect distance.

Race 6 n5 Heart Of Dreams e/w ($6.0) Not a popular neddy with me but I cannot ignore the very strong push from those in the know. Better at this distance than 2000m.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Rosehill 27 March – Value Day

We will leave the odds on favs to Gelding and search out some great e/w value. It worked for us last week and I have some good mail.

Race 1 n4 Silently e/w ($7.0) Gelding has found the hot pot in Griffon (and it will be extremely hard to pass) but our neddy is 3rd up which is it’s best form race and it rates extremely well.

Race 4 n11 Skorost e/w ($16.0) Had 1st start last and beaten a mile but J B Cummings has added blinkers and my mail says it has grown a leg on the track. Huge value!

Race 5 n8 More Strawberries e/w ($4.4) Missed start at 1st race and should have won. Blinkers added by Gai and I’m told it will be up on the pace.

Race 7 n8 Zabrasive e/w ($6.5) We cannot knock Gelding’s pick Shoot Out who will be fav but ours is DEFINITELY the best stayer in the race and is sensational value e/w.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Gelding's tips for 27 March 2010

After a three week hiatus due to the Professor not having acces to a computer to enter my tips, I am back bigger and better than ever.

Racing this week returns to the Gelding’s home track at Caulfield tomorrow. I also like some of the neddies running around in Sydney as well so at the risk of upsetting the Colt, I am having a fly at those as well.

As always the bets are on an each way and all up basis.

Caulfield

Race 5 Horse 7 – Nicastro

Race 6 Horse 3- Tenzing

Race 8 Horse 3 – Luminous Harmony (for the girls at the Tennis club)

Race 8 Horse 4 – My Girl Helen

Rosehill

Race 1 Horse 6 – Griffon

Race 3 Horse 3 – Precedence

Race 7 Horse 2 – Shoot Out (also for the girls at the Tennis club)

Good luck and good punting.
