The Professor had a day to forget on Saturday but, using a line from the Sydney Colt, ‘confidence is not lost’ so onward and upward! The track is rated a soft 6 with the rail out three metres the entire track.

The Professor was in fine form last week with both selections on Cox Plate day getting up as well as the weekend parlay saluting. He’s hoping to do just as well today on Derby day. The track is currently rated a Good 4 but rain is expected during the day. The rail is in the true position for the entire circuit.

The Professor was on the money with Mer De Glace in last week’s Caulfield Cup. Too bad he didn’t put that horse in his weekend parlay as the other two legs saluted. He’s hoping to go one better today on Cox Plate day at Moonee Valley. The track is rated a Good 4 with the rail in the true position for the entire circuit.

The Professor is coming off some good form with a winner and the weekend parlay saluting last weekend. Racing is at Caulfield today with the start of the Spring Carnival and this meeting preparing everyone for next Saturday’s Caulfield Cup.
