Sydney Colt’s Mail For a Wet Warwick Farm Track

Did you get on the 3/3 winners last week or were you asleep at the wheel? I had a great fill-up for the start of our punting year. Today’s heading could have read “Sydney Colt’s no mail ….”. There is a lack of mail out there mainly owing to the wet track. Anyway let’s bet really small and have some fun with these wet track horses e/w:-

Race 6 n5 LASER HAWK e/w Just a small e/w interest bet on this neddy who I regard as the best wet tracker running today.

Race 7 n6 HOOD e/w Again just a small e/w interest bet on another who loves mud pies for dinner.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sydney Colt Returns With Mail For Rosehill 16 February 2013

No it’s not the return of Black Caviar that everyone is talking about. Nor is Slim Shady back again. Yes, at the request of Sydney Colt groupies and punt drunks everywhere I’m back after renegotiating my contract with the Professor. I’m now on double nothing.

There are some real juicy bets for Rosehill tomorrow so keep the faith and jump on board. As always bet BOBs (best of the best) with Luxbet or Betstar (unfortunately Centrebet are no longer all fired up and have stopped offering BOBs to clients 🙁

Race 2 number 3 STEPS IN TIME A very capable neddy who is group 1 bound. Has trialled very well and runs great when fresh.

Race 4 number 5 OVERREACH After tomorrow I expect this neddy will be rated Gai’s best chance for the 2013 Golden Slipper. Has trialled super dooper and has had a ton of support already firming from $3.4 to $2.8. Bet up on this one!

Race 5 number 5 REBEL DANE Recently the trainer declared on twitter this neddy has never looked better and trialled better than expected. That is a huge rap and good enough for Sydney Colt groupies.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sydney Colt’s LAST Mail Post For My Groupies and Punt Drunks Everywhere

With great sadness this is my final post for Sportzfan. I have given my commitment to a mate to assist him on Saturdays. It has been a fun ride and I hope I have steered you into a winner or 2. Last week we made a profit of +$130 which brought our 2012 profit to +$1266

Race 1 n2 STRAWBERRY BOY $250 win (BOBs) This is no fancy price but it will lead and win.

I would like to wish all the very best to the Professor, Gelding and Sportzfan presenters. Best regards to the loyal Sydney Colt groupies and Punt Drunks everywhere. Never forget our punting motto. Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sydney Colt’s Rosehill Mail For 1st Day of Spring

This is racing’s best time of the year for a punt. God bless Spring, dry tracks and good horses. Last week, to the joy of punt drunks and Sydney Colt groupies, the mail was spot on with both bets giving a combined profit of +$477 and a 2012 profit of +$1136.

Race 1 n10 WESTCHESTER $50 win (BOBs). Up in grade but well placed at the weights and improving.

Race 2 n4 PROISIR $150 win (BOBs). Every man and his dog knows about the sectionals this neddy ran when winning in a canter. I will dead set cry if our mate NORZITA beats us after we plunged last start only to see it butchered by the jockey.

Race 3 n8 PRINCE PEDRO $50 win (BOBs). Back sharply in distance will allow this neddy to settle and finish the race off at a nice price.

Race 6 n10 GLENCADAM GOLD $50 win (BOBs). Gai is aiming this neddy at the Melbourne Cup. Would want to be winning this before they waste nomination fees!

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sydney Colt’s Mail For Warwick Farm Saturday 25 August 2012

Where do we start today. There are so many good horses back and ready to run. The wrap on NECHITA who is the shortest fav of the day, is absolutely enormous. The dogs have been barking the Moody horses MOMENT OF CHANGE for the past 2-3 weeks! Hence the $3.0 bet by the Corporates was knocked off pretty quickly. Our 2012 record reveals a +$659 profit.

Race 3 n4 MOMENT OF CHANGE $180 win BOBs. Gets 4+kgs off the only dangers in the race. Expect this neddy to be too nippy for them.

Race 7 n10 NECHITA $350 win BOBs. The boom on this is so loud they would hear it in Afghanistan! Its win stamped it as well above average and has trialed like a potential superstar.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sydney Colt’s (lack of) Mail For Rosehill 18 August 2012

I’m still getting over the shock riding tactics aboard our neddy Norzita last week. With BOBs we hit the bookies at $2.7 and watched it firm to $1.90. You are lucky to see that once a year. Oh how I wish the nightmares would stop! Then our 2nd bet goes around and wins with a leg in the air (as expected) but the best we got was a lousy $1.40.

On paper I thought today threw up a few “must be backed” prospects however on ringing around this morning the mail is confusing. I think we are best served staying out today and keeping our powder dry for next Saturday.

If you are a punt drunk and must indulge I did hear in Melb r4 n10 Agueda did trial extremely well in Sydney before heading south. It is $15 in the betting and may be worth a small e/w bet.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sydney Colt’s Mail For Warwick Farm 11 August 2012

Winter racing is taking its toll on punt drunks and Sydney Colt groupies. Last week our straight out bet ran 2nd while our place bet ran 4th. Bugger! Never mind while we lost a good chunk of our bankroll we are still winning $734 for 2012. Our confidence is still running high despite money lost. I’m happy to splurge on the strength of the mail today. Looking to the future I am already hearing some news about a few 2yo horses who will debut for the Waterhouse and O’Shea yards in early Spring.

Race 1 n2 NORZITA $175 win (BOBs) This neddy is on the way up. Impressive last time and I’m told has improved on the track since.

Race 3 n2 SHE’S A FOX $250 win (BOBs) Sydney Colt groupies won on this neddy last run when its sectionals were sensational. Has already been backed for a fortune in early markets so our return will not be too flash.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sydney Colt’s Mail For Canterbury 4 August

Last week saw us gain a handy win of $104 which brought our 2012 winnings to +$1184. Today we welcome Gai back to Saturday racing after an O/S venture. Sydney Colt groupies and punt drunks everywhere know how much we love Gai’s stable. We have some mail for a couple of her runners today so watch out for racing’s first lady!

Race 1 n1 RAMPAGING $250 win (BOBs). We are told this neddy is finally fit and is racing at a suitable distance. Expecting this to lead all the way!

Race 3 n1 DE SHAMEKH $200 place (best of 3 totes) Trials leading into this have only been fair but has apparently improved a ton on the track. Nash should get a lovely run behind the pace.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sydney Colt’s Mail For Warwick Farm 28 July 2012

Confident we can add to our $1000+ profit in 2012 with bets in 2 races today for Sydney Colt groupies. Warwick Farm wont scare punt drunks. No rain this week!

Race 3 n5 She’s A Fox $160 win (BOBs) and n8 Kristy Lee $40 win (BOBs). I would double my bet on SAF but the barrier has me a little concerned. I’m told KL has gone great on the track since an impressive trial.

Race 5 n1 HAPPY HUSSY $140 win (BOBs). Its called class, class and more class. Very well placed on ratings and been racing in good form races.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.

Sydney Colt’s Mail For Warwick Farm 14 July 2012

Last week’s results leaves us with a 2012 profit of $1400. Looking to lift our game this week. I’m happy with the mail but detest betting at Warwick Farm during winter. The plus is that the rain has mainly stayed away this week. Remember to bet BOBs with Luxbet and Betstar. Centrebet have removed their BOBs option – BOO!!!

Race 1 n2 HENDRICUS $140 win BOBs Nothing like starting the day with a Nash ride. This neddy was given no hope last start, is up to its pet distance and is third up. All guns blazing on this one.

Race 2 n4 TURNLEY $100 place (best of 3 totes with corporates) A good judge was impressed how this one beat older horses at its first attempt. Great place value.

Race 3 n3 MISS SPOKEN $80 place (best of 3 totes with corporates) Had no hope last start and will get the run of the race here. At time of posting it is $16 with the corporate bookies. Value.

Money lost, nothing lost. Confidence lost, everything lost.
