I took $17 fixed odds this morning with www.bookmaker.com.au I am reliably told this filly has been ticking over nicely and will improve on its last start 2nd at Kembla. The Waterhouse stable prepare this girl and I am keen to see if the mail is accurate.

Race 1 n2 BERNABEU with a saver on n5 NORTHERN GLORY Hard to pick between the 2 but one of them will be winning! The mail from Randwick is both are working like winners!

Race 5 n6 PEAL OF BELLS e/w This neddy was set for the Melb Cup last year but didn’t quite come up. This is a weak race over 3200m and it is a last start winner carrying the grandstand. If you back this neddy e/w you won’t go wrong.

Bris r1 n13 COSMIC ENDEAVOUR Gai brought this one to Bris to win! If you get to see its win on debut you will put the house on it.

Race 1 n7 BERNABEU Last week I starting hearing about the huge raps from Randwick about this neddy. The mail is so strong it may well challenge for favouritism. Pity we have to guess whether it can handle the going.

Race 4 n2 VATUVEI No guessing with this bloke as it has a perfect record on heavy tracks and has been knocking on the door. Today looks the day!

Sydney Colt groupies will know from following these posts that I detest Saturday racing being held at provincial tracks. I wasn’t even going to look at the fields but then I got a tip from Randwick for one of Gai’s runners. When this happens you have to sit up and take notice.

Race 3 n3 NORTHERN GLORY e/w I am told Gai has it primed and ready for a 1st up tilt. I grabbed $7 e/w on Thursday. I have no great confidence as I do not like betting at provincial tracks but e/w seems a safe way of protecting our bankroll.

I have been watching the betting on Flemington race 1 n11 MISS STEELE where since Wednesday to now (Friday night) it has firmed from $7.0 to $3.4. It will be interesting to see if champion Melbourne tipster Gelding has it among his selections.

Adelaide Race 7 n1 MOMENT OF CHANGE If ratings mean anything this neddy has heaps on its rivals. Has been backed from Wednesday to now as if unbeatable. The bet of the day but you wont get the $3.50 on offer Wed.

Brisbane Race 7 n 2 RAIN AFFAIR and n10 SEA SIREN. Back both level stakes as they are around $6 each. Rain Affair got within 0.8 lengths of All Too Hard last start and it would be odds on in this field. Must include Sea Siren as everyone at Randwick says it has been working the place down.
