The Professor’s and the Gelding’s tips for Caulfield races on 9 May 2020

The Professor and the Gelding are back doing battle today after a week off. With two weeks to prepare their tips they’re hoping that they have made some educated selections. The Caulfield track is rated a Good 4 but heavy rain is expected during the day. The rail is out 6 metres for the entire circuit. The Gelding holds a handy 2-0 lead in the best of five challenge.

Week one of the re-match between the Professor and the Gelding saw the Gelding come out on top. The Professor is looking to get back on level terms today at Flemington. The track is rated a Good 4 with the rail in the true position.

The Professor’s tips for Caulfield races and the Gelding’s tips for Randwick races on 18 April 2020

The Professor won the five week challenge against the Gelding with success at Caulfield last week. The Gelding has demanded a re-match and so the challenge is back on again today. The Professor prefers to stay at Caulfield while the Gelding likes his chances north of the border.

The Caulfield track is rated a Good 4 with the rail out 3 metres for the entire circuit while the Randwick track is rated a Soft 5 with the rail out 7 metres for the entire circuit.

It’s week 5 of the challenge between the Professor and the Gelding and the results over the past 4 weeks couldn’t be any closer. They are tied with one win apiece and two draws. The Professor likes his chances at Caulfield today whilst the Gelding has his sights set on Randwick.

The Caulfield track is rated a Soft 6 with showers expected during the day and the rail in the true position for the entire circuit. At Randwick, the track is rated a Heavy 8 with the rail 4 metres out for the entire circuit.

The Professor’s tips for Caulfield races and the gelding’s tips for Randwick races on 4 April 2020

The Gelding took the lead last week and as we head to week four of the contest between he and the Professor, one can only wonder how much longer racing will continue to be one of the only sporting contests on the globe in these Corona virus times.

The Caulfield track is rated a heavy 9 with further rain forecast with the rail out 9 metres for the entire circuit whilst the Randwick track was rated a soft 7 and was downgraded overnight to a heavy 8 with the rail in the true position.

Today the Professor’s tips are from Caulfield and the Gelding’s are from Randwick.

The Professor and the Gelding are ‘tied’ after two weeks of tipping and week three sees their attention on Rosehill with the sport lucky to be still in action after a jockey’s negative corona virus test during the week. The track is rated a Soft 7 with the rail out 6 metres for the entire circuit.

It was much ado about nothing last Saturday in week 1 in the duel between the Professor and the Gelding in the tipping stakes. Hopefully, they’ll both be in better form with today’s tips on Golden Slipper day at Rosehill. The track is rated a Soft 6 with the rail out 3 metres for the entire circuit.

The Professor’s weekend parlay will be suspended until the sports world returns to normal from Covid-19.

The Professor returned to the winner’s list in style last week with two winners from two selections. Unfortunately, it took Liverpool’s first loss in 44 Premier League matches to bring his weekend parlay undone. Hopefully, he’ll get all three this week.
