A very open day of racing at Pakenham today on Cup day with several very good chances in each race. The Professor and the Gelding have run their eyes over the fields and think they have some value for punters. The track is currently rated a Good 4 but showers are predicted during the afternoon so that could affect the track rating. The rail is in the true position for the entire circuit.

Professor’s tips for Pakenham and Rosehill races on 8 December 2018

Racing in Melbourne today is at the scenic Pakenham race track where we’ll see the running of the Pakenham Cup. The rail will be in the true position and, with some overnight rain in the area, the track is expected to be a Good 4. If there’s any rain during the day though that could change. At Rosehill, the rail will be 6 metres out from the true position and the track is expected to be rated as Good.

The Gelding’s attention turns to the provincial track at Pakenham today with the running of the Pakenham Cup. More rain during the week, makes for a tricky and difficult race meeting to pick winners. That being said, the Gelding thinks he has some tips that he hopes will give a return to punters today.

As always the bets are on an each way and all up basis.
