The Professor’s red hot tips for Flemington races on 10 August 2019 and the Weekend Parlay

The Professor was out of luck last Saturday with both his selections for the ladies at the Tennis club well placed in the home straight but they failed to run on.

Today’s Flemington meeting will be tricky with the rain over the last two days. The track is currently rated a Soft 7 but with more rain forecast today that rating could reach ‘Heavy’. The rail is 10 metres out from the true position.

Weekend Parlay

Race 7 Horse 7 – My Pendant into Collingwood to beat Melbourne (AFL) into Parramatta Eels to beat Newcastle Knights (NRL).

The Professor was in good form last week with a winner and second in the racing and his weekend parlay saluted. He’s looking to at least match that effort today. The Moonee Valley course is rated a Soft 5 with the rail in the true position.

The Professor was one for two last week with his tips for the ladies at the Tennis club and 2 for 3 with his selections for the weekend parlay. He’s looking to go one better in each today. The Caulfield track is rated a Soft 6 with the rail out 6 metres from the true position.

The Professor’s form of recent weeks has been a bit hit and miss but he is looking to return to better form today at Caulfield where the track is currently rated a Soft 7. More rain during the day will no doubt affect that rating. The rail is 3 metres out from the true position.

We also spoke State of Origin with Paul Dalligan and Mark Fiorenti previewed the women’s soccer World Cup final between the USA and the Netherlands. A new panellist was introduced to the show too.

The Professor had some modest success last week for the ladies at the Tennis club with Highland Beat and is looking to improve on that today. The Flemington track is rated a Soft 5 at present but should firm up during the day, with the rail in the true position.

The Professor was close again last week with his weekend parlay but the horse leg seems to be letting him down. No time for ‘if only’ though as it’s onward and upward. The Flemington track is rated a soft 7 at present but that may change if the forecast showers eventuate. The rail is out 9 metres from the true position.
