Absolutely mate. I understand the importance of keeping a tidy budget while travelling, but I don’t like to keep pennies too close to my chest. Money is for experiences just like that!

Whenever I head back there next I’d love to sit in the press box. I’d just try to spot as many Dodger Twitter scribes as I could! Understand the no barracking though – it’s a pretty common rule throughout all sports worldwide and must say I agree. Nothing worse covering a game as a neutral than having ‘homers’ celebrating or cursing.

G’Day Paul. I was just going through some old e-mails and found a link to this article. No idea how I missed it before – my apologies!

Fantastic write-up! Since you wrote this piece, I visited the storied venue myself (although only on a stadium tour because we were too crappy to qualify for post-season play). It takes on a completely new dimension when you’re there, doesn’t it? I’ve seen it countless times on TV and in video games, but it’s an awe-inspiring place when you visit in person.

I hope to get across for a few games next season. Thanks for sharing!
